I’ve been writing since I can remember, mostly in diaries and for private consumption. Over the years, I became more confident in expressing my thoughts to an audience. In 2021, my short story, “A Night in New York,” was a finalist for the Tiberius Gracchus Jones Prize for Nonfiction.

Currently, I’m a senior staff writer for BRIGHT, a publishing house and creative agency based in Cambridgeshire, UK. I’ve written across its in-house magazines – including Definition, FEED, LIVE, Photography News and Cambridge Edition; all articles are available upon request.

As a senior staff writer for Definition magazine, I pitched and now pen a regular, short film-focused column called ‘In short’. I also write other interview-based features, going behind the scenes on the biggest films and TV series.

I’ve spoken with directors; DOPs; art, production and costume designers; screenwriters; editors; animators; colorists; sound designers, mixers and composers; music supervisors; and VFX specialists – in other words, everyone (besides actors) involved in bringing these stories to life.
