My name is Katie, and movies are my thing.

For 3+ years, I’ve been covering film and television, writing ‘making of’ stories based on interviews with directors, DPs, editors, screenwriters, costume designers, VFX specialists and the like. I’ve also covered industry news, written profiles and reviews, attended film festivals and private screenings and even visited virtual sets.

At 13 years old, I told the world I wanted to be a film director. While I’m not quite on that path, that dream never died; I love going behind-the-scenes on all sorts of projects — and sometimes even on Hollywood itself. I have bylines in Little White Lies, Definition, Observer, Movie Marker and Film Cred, and I’ve also written for Business Insider, FEED and LIVE.
