It’s not what you look at that matters. It’s what you see.
Henry David Thoreau
I want to capture the world as I see it, not how it wants to be seen. To that end, I prefer candids, landscapes and documentary-style photography. I enjoy working with soft, natural light and an earthy, organic color palette.
I alternate between a Nikon Z7II, Nikon F4 and Olympus OM-10. At William & Mary, I was the Photo Director for Spoon University and a staff photographer for Vinyl Tap. During my semester abroad, I was selected to be a Student Photographer for DIS Copenhagen. Recently, I was the Head of Photography & Video for Varsity before progressing to Visual Editor. Now, I work as a freelance photographer, occasionally acting as an assistant/second shooter.
My work has been published in both print and digital, in Definition, Cambridge Edition, Photography News, 08108 Collingswood, 08057 Moorestown and elsewhere. I’ve also been featured on @afarmedia, @longwoodgardens, @terraincafe, @copenhagenexplore, @camdiary, @cambridgelittlegems, @fitzbillies, @disabroad and @iloveocnj, among others.
I’ve worked with a range of clients in a variety of settings, including – but not limited to – weddings and engagements, graduation portraits, formal parties, professional headshots and live performances like gigs, parades and theatre.
